Broom Revisited  Saturday, January 9, 2010

The broom on the Cook Creek connector was first attacked last March (2009) by Jack Newman, Hugh Todd and Gord Debad.  The plan was (and is) to now plant trees which will hopefully shade the broom shoots that still survive.  So today, in a driving rain, a group of hardy souls clambered up the muddy hill to plant the young trees placed there earlier by Pam and Lise (presumably - I wasn't there).
